⚓ Floatie: Anchor in Scripture
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.(ESV)
Romans 10:13 For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”(ESV)
✒️ Forge: The Lie of Too Late
One of the enemy’s sharpest lies is that you are already condemned beyond repair. That you are too far gone, too broken, too dirty, too evil to ever be forgiven or made whole. It is whispered in the quiet moments and shouted in the storms of life. It sounds like finality, but it is not truth.
The Word of God never says “too far gone.” Instead, it says that God’s patience is deliberate. He is holding back the trumpet so that as many as possible might repent. The lie of “too late” is a counterfeit verdict meant to lock people into despair before the Judge ever renders His decision.
⚒️ Anvil: The Crushing Truth
There will come a moment when it is too late. When the last trumpet sounds, the line is drawn, and the window of mercy is shut. The reality of judgment is certain. But it is not here yet. The breath in your lungs is proof that mercy still extends to you.
1 Timothy 1:15 The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost.(ESV)
If Paul—the persecutor of the church, the man who hunted Christians—could be redeemed and transformed into an apostle, then no one is beyond reach. The enemy has no authority to declare your expiration date. Only God does.
🔥 Ember: The Watchman’s Call
Do not waste the time you have left. The Spirit is still calling. The enemy hisses that you are finished, but the cross whispers louder that you are forgiven. The only ones who are truly lost are those who refuse to answer the invitation.
You may feel the weight of shame or the scars of rebellion, but Jesus bore those very wounds on His own body. He does not just erase sin—He redeems even the wreckage. Redemption leaves a scar, but that scar is proof of healing.
🌿 Covenant Triumph: Until the Trumpets Play
It is not too late until it is too late. The trumpet has not yet sounded. Grace still flows. Forgiveness is still within reach. The door is not yet closed.
Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.(ESV)
If you hear His voice today, answer. Don’t let the lie of “too late” rob you of the truth of salvation. Time is still on your side until the day of the Lord.
