Romans 1:20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.(ESV)
Romans 1:20 makes a powerful statement about the existence of God. Every sunrise, every intricate detail of creation, every breath we take points to a divine Creator. And yet, many still deny Him. The cutting edge to this verse is that there is no excuse for rejecting Him because He has made Himself known through His creation. The paradox here is striking. God is not visible, yet His presence is clearly visible in all of creation.
Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.(ESV)
When we look at the complexity of life, the order of the universe, and the beauty of creation, we are seeing the very fingerprints of God. From the beginning, creation has been a testimony to God’s existence. Even those who have never read a Bible still encounter God’s handiwork daily.
Job 12:7-10 (7)But ask the beasts, and they will teach you; the birds of the heavens, and they will tell you; (8)or the bushes of the earth, and they will teach you; and the fish of the sea will declare to you. (9)Who among all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this? (10)In his hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind.(ESV)
Science and nature do not contradict God—they confirm His wisdom and power. The evidence is there, yet many refuse to acknowledge God.
John 3:19-20 (19)And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. (20)For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed.(ESV)
Rejection of God is not due to a lack of evidence—it is a refusal to submit to the truth.
What will you do with this evidence? Will you seek Him and honor Him, or will you turn away and suppress the truth?
Challenge: If God has made Himself known through creation, how much more has He revealed Himself through Christ? The question is not whether God exists, but whether we will acknowledge and surrender to Him.
