Walking With Christ

Ecclesiastes 11:4 Farmers who wait for perfect weather never plant. If they watch every cloud, they never harvest.(ESV)

Just do it. Don’t wait for the perfect time to take that vacation that you’ve been dreaming of. Don’t wait to have kids. Don’t put off making up with that friend or family member. Don’t put off telling someone that you love them.

We are not promised tomorrow. There is only today. Live like you were dying. Learn what you can while you may. Share what you’ve learned with others before it’s too late. Rejoice now. Live now. Laugh now. Love now! Later may never come. I’m begging you with tears in my eyes, don’t wait. That is the path of pain and regret.

Living in the moment and being hyper focused on what God wants us to be focused on in that moment is a huge gift. If you are in the moment, you don’t have time to dwell on hurts of the past. It lets you live with a lot less regrets because you won’t have “I wish I” moments.

Father, I pray that these words become seeds planted in the heart of anyone who reads them. Water these seeds with the Living Water so that we can be shaded by the constant reminder that You are with us always. Let that be our oasis in this world. Tear down strongholds of pain and regret so that we all may build up relationships that glorify Your kingdom. Make every heart bold in Your word and Your truth so that we may all speak it in love. Remind us all of the countless blessings that we have to be grateful and thankful for to You. You are our provider. You are our refuge when we are tired or weak. You hold us when we are down. You comfort us when we hurt. We praise and worship Your name.
